Our mission is to provide for the unique needs of people of color and be a vital part of our communities by cultivating wellbeing, holistic health, and positive life choices. We bridge the gap between holistic health modalities and the particular health and wellness needs of people of color in the Greensboro area. We seek to sensitize and raise awareness, host free wellness events, distribute wellness products, offer educational seminars on mind-body-spirit balance, inform of accessible local resources, collaborate with healthcare facilities and schools, advocate, and more. As we heal ourselves, so too do our communities.

HPOC has a mission to support, assist and spotlight holistic health industry professionals, equitable research practices, the validation of ancient healing modalities and ensure BIPOC voices are included in the holistic health narrative.

Our Mission:

HPOC aims to promote holistic wellness, education, and community - building among Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) through national and local chapters, events, academics and outreach programs. We will bring consciousness to the health disparities that BIPOC experience, and we look forward to doing our part through the healing power of HPOC. We seek to reclaim our health by tapping into our ancestral wisdom. Engaging with the broader community is essential for building awareness, fostering partnerships, and driving the mission of holistic health forward, especially within BIPOC communities.

In 2021, there were 1.08 times more Black residents in Greensboro, NC than any other race or ethnicity, that's 126 thousand people out of the 295 thousand  people that resides in Greensboro. If we look at the numbers that's 126K building BIPOC hands.

Our Purpose:

HPOC has a vision to educate "Wellness Warriors" to heal the culture for the culture. To reconnect our communities to ancient healing practices. To provide education, information, and support relevant to addressing the health disparities in our community by incorporating holistic modalities.

Our Vision:

Help us serve your community!

HPOC is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that recognizes the role of the body, mind, and spirit in achieving complete wellness. We believe that metaphysics gives us the innate ability to obtain wellness when the body, mind, and spirit are equally nurtured. Through our local chapters we hope to reach each household that needs us.
